Jennifer Anderson
Founder/CEO Blue Line Coaching LLC, First Responder Coaching and Two Roads Coaching
Jennifer Anderson founded First Responder Coaching on the simple premise that it’s the spouses and families of first responders who know what that life is like. Jen uses life coaching to navigate the daily struggles of finances, schedules, and family needs to create a deeper connection, stronger foundation, and thriving family life for all she helps.
This calling is especially personal for Jennifer, whose husband is a retired police officer. Retired Officer Anderson suffered specifically from PTSD, depression, and anxiety and might have ended up taking his own life had it not been for the difficult discussions that would later become the core of First Responder Coaching’s philosophy.
When Jen isn’t attending meetings, presenting, or making connections to continue to promote and champion cultural change within the first responder community, she’s enjoying time with family. Coaching Your Growth Conference wouldn’t be possible without the work and continued effort she puts forth.
Meghan Albanese
Event Speaker
Director of Coaches at First Responder Coaching
Certified First Responder Coach
First Responder Coaching Trainer
Meghan grew up in a law enforcement family, seeing the impact of on the job, trauma, and family dynamics. She then pursued a degree in counseling and did clinical work with many at risk youth for 13 years before taking a break to focus on her growing family. After an incident in her husband’s place of work as a police officer, she was shocked to find little to no resources for officers and came to find Jen and First Responder Coaching.
Meghan chose to embark on the certification course with FRC and became the Director of Coaching. She works with many agencies and even held a spot on a panel in DC to discuss law enforcement and suicide in September 2024.
Susan Deyo
Retired EMT
Certified First Responder Coach
First Responder Coaching Trainer
Susan worked for 30 years in the EMS/Fire industry, both private and municipal. She started in a small town as a volunteer but spent most of her career in two of the largest cities in the state. Kidney failure sidelined her career, forcing her to retire early. She was also battling PTSD and floundered for a while, wanting to help her fellow first responders who she could see were struggling but not knowing how. She had always wanted to be a life coach, so when she found First Responder Coaching, it felt like karma.
She has been in the trenches, and understands the way a first responder’s mind works. Coaching helped her put her life back together and there’s nothing she would like more than using her training and experience to help others.
